This walnut was salvaged from a friend who had to cut the tree down to protect a nearby building at his home. The wood features an unusual mix of sap wood (new growth - light colored) and older, darker colored wood.
 
Perfectuly sized to serve as a finger bowl, or to offer smaller pieces of candy placed around a room or when guests are visiting.
